A FastCrank mounting system enables fast, secure mounting and dismounting of your bike to the trainer.
Blackburn designers consider a wide array of surprisingly complex factors -- from the fluid mechanics of shear stress, to magnetic eddy currents, to Lenz's Law -- to create their high performance line of trainers. The company maintains its own trainer research and development center, outfitted with a number of proprietary testing equipment. Blackburn tested more than 15 different trainers, benchmarking factors such as frame rack and spread stiffness and thermal decay at 40 MPH, then used this data to design a new trainer from scratch.

The result of all this prep work was the Tech Mag 6 trainer. An adjustable-height tubular steel frame offers outstanding stiffness and stability, while fluidly magnetic resistance units create sculpted, smooth, and progressive power curves. The mounting hardware was also redesigned to speed up the process, and you can choose between six different resistance settings with a bar-mounted remote.

Lifetime Warranty
Blackburn products include a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

About Blackburn
The Blackburn brand is part of the Easton-Bell Sports, Inc. family of companies. Easton-Bell Sports, Inc. is a leading designer, developer, and marketer of branded sporting equipment and accessories that enhance athletic performance and protection. Most riders will never need to understand the fluid mechanics of shear stress, magnetic eddy currents or Lens'z Law, and how these things affect a trainer's performance. But it's through a thorough understanding of these details (and a bunch of others) that Blackburn was able to develop some of the best indoor trainers on the market for 2010. We sarted off by creating our own trainer R&D center complete with a battery of proprietary testing equipment. And then , we tested - some 15 trainers in total - benchmarking everything from frame rack and spread stiffness to thermal decay at 40 mph. We took that data and went back to the drawing board. The result: the Tech Fluid and Tech Mag 6 trainers. All-new adjustable height frames that set a new benchmark for stiffness and stability. Fluid and magnetic resistance units with carefully scuplted, smooth and progressive power curves to meet the needs of weekend warriors and world class atheletes alike. Even the mounting hardware was redesigned for faster, easier use. So while you'll never need to know how optimized flywheel weight affects resistance and rollout quality, once you turn the pedals on a Tech Series, you'll be glad we do.
